Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy (the "AUP") governs your use of Arturo (the "Service"). It is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

1. Content You May Not Upload or Generate

You may not upload User Content or use the Service to produce Outputs that:

• you do not own or lack the necessary rights, licenses, consents, or permissions to submit or process — including images, logos, screenshots, mockups, photographs, or design files belonging to any third party;
• infringe or misappropriate any copyright, trademark, trade dress, right of publicity, right of privacy, trade secret, or other intellectual-property or proprietary right of any person;
• depict a real, identifiable person in a manner that violates their rights or applicable law;
• depict minors in a sexual or exploitative manner, or produce child sexual abuse material of any kind;
• are sexually explicit, non-consensual intimate imagery, or intended to harass, defame, or threaten any person;
• promote violence, terrorism, self-harm, or unlawful activity, or contain incitement to violence against any protected group;
• contain malware, ransomware, exploit code, phishing content, or any material intended to compromise systems or data;
• contain personal or sensitive data of others that you are not authorized to submit (including government identifiers, financial account numbers, or health information);
• are designed to impersonate any person or entity, including for the purpose of fraud, scams, election interference, or deceptive practices; or
• violate any applicable law, regulation, sanction, or court order.

1a. Watermarked, Licensed, and Stock Content — Expressly Prohibited

Without limiting Section 1, you expressly agree that you will not use the Service to:

• remove, obscure, alter, crop out, paint over, blur, inpaint, regenerate, or otherwise circumvent any watermark, signature, copyright notice, attribution, source identifier, "comp," "preview," "sample," or "for-position-only" marking on any image, illustration, font, video, or other asset;
• upload, process, clean up, upscale, extract, or otherwise derive assets from stock photography, stock illustrations, stock video, fonts, icons, or any other licensed content that you do not own or hold a valid, current license permitting the specific use — including watermarked previews or comps from Getty, Shutterstock, Adobe Stock, iStock, Alamy, Envato, Depositphotos, Dreamstime, 500px, or any similar provider;
• use the Service to defeat digital rights management, content-authentication signals (e.g., C2PA / Content Credentials), or any technical protection measure applied to a work by its rights holder; or
• use Outputs of the Service as a substitute for purchasing a required stock or font license.

You represent and warrant, each time you submit User Content, that you own it or hold all rights and licenses necessary for Arturo to process it and for you to use the resulting Outputs. You will indemnify Peaceful Crown, LLC against any claim arising from your breach of this Section. We may, without notice, refuse to process, remove, or watermark Outputs we reasonably believe were derived from watermarked or unlicensed source material, and may suspend or terminate accounts used for this purpose, and report suspected infringement to rights holders and law enforcement.

2. Prohibited Conduct

You will not, and will not permit any third party to:

• reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service;
• use the Service to build a competing product, or to train, evaluate, or improve any machine-learning model;
• probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or breach any authentication or rate-limit measures;
• use scripts, bots, scrapers, or other automated means to interact with the Service in a way that degrades performance for others;
• resell, sublicense, or provide the Service as a service to third parties without our prior written consent; or
• circumvent quotas, billing, or other technical restrictions of the Service.

3. Your Responsibility for Outputs

Outputs are produced by automated systems, including third-party AI models. You are solely responsible for reviewing Outputs before any downstream use and for ensuring that your use is lawful and does not infringe third-party rights. Peaceful Crown, LLC does not warrant that any Output is original, non-infringing, accurate, or suitable for any purpose. See the DMCA & AI Content Policy for takedown procedures.

4. Reporting Violations

To report suspected AUP violations, contact support@arturoassets.com with sufficient detail for us to investigate.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this AUP. We may, in our sole discretion and without prior notice, remove or disable access to User Content or Outputs, suspend or terminate accounts, or take any other action we deem appropriate, including cooperating with law enforcement or pursuing legal remedies. We are not liable for actions taken in good faith to enforce this AUP.
